Well this week was interesting (if that's the right word). Monday-Friday Molly was gone so i had absolutely no plans what-so-ever. Which, of course, meant to call Chad and we go swimming, which we did, 3/5 days plus Saturday. We always go swimming at Cloud's Crossing, a local swimming spot that's barely a river but is big enough for a good-sized crowd to enjoy. The greatest thing about it is on two different trees there are ropes to swing off of, which makes for a fun time. On the first tree (located on the shore), the ladder to climb to swing on the rope is loose so me and Chad nailed that back in and then tied a seat into the rope about six feet above the surface of the water. Which i swung from repeatedly then had the brilliant idea to hang upside down while swinging! it was fun, sure, but a bit scary when your swinging twenty feet one way then twenty feet the other. Now the second rope (which is really a bungee cord tied to a tree limb about 25 feet over the water) is my favorite. The tree is a little ways into the water so u swim to the ladder on the tree, climb up as high as you want, have someone give you the rope, then jump for your life. Well me, in case you haven't noticed, I'm a daredevil with these ropes and i climbed 20 feet up the tree, arriving at the point of the ladder that i could have climbed 3 more steps and climbed onto the limb the rope is on, and got the rope and dived off. Well the rope and myself swung out (remember we began at 20 feet) then swung out and then up until i was higher then the limb (which, might i add, is VERY high when hanging from a bungee cord) and then i let go and fell what Chad and a few others who were there say was close to 30 feet and dived into the water. My only two comments are: 1) Don't try that at home. 2) Thank God the water i landed in is extremely deep or else i would have been stuck in the bottom like a straw into a McDonald's soda.
Anyway that was pretty much my week as far as adventures go. The only other events include a nasty gash going from my right pinkie toe to the back of my heel, compliments of Chad's satanic four wheeler, FINALLY getting my new shoes in from CCS (A skateboard company), and making my computer at my house at least turn on again (I'm so happy i can continue life as a dork by playing Warcraft for my fifth year now, offline sure, but that just fuels the fire of my dorkiness!).
Since my last blog I've gotten in a ton of reading. I think last time i blogged i was reading Sabriel by Garth Nix (Highly recommended book to all lovers of High-Fantasy). Well since i have read Sabriel and it's two sequels; Lirael and Abhorsen (two more brilliant books). I've read The Dreamer's Series, a four-book series by David and Leigh Eddings who are a great Husband & Wife writing team and the books themselves are now ranked above my favorites and also setting in my bookshelves at home. Last of all i am currently reading Eragon by Christopher Paolini. A book of intense fantasy about magic, dragons, justice, and destiny. Rated 10 out of 10 in my mind and i say the same about it's sequel Eldest. I can't wait until August, which is when the third and final book, Gladier, is due to be released. Speaking of releases i can't wait until the seventh and final Harry Potter book is out! Rowling says in an interview that she kills off two characters in it and I'm dying myself to know who!
Also this week i got a fair bit of work done on my own book (untitled at the moment). I lost 70 pages of it when my computer crashed but this week i wrote about 30 more on the book itself, worked on my map of Amedorr (the world in which my story takes place) so i know all the sites and such, and worked a little on enhancing my characters and enriching the Elvish culture in Amedorr (since i have a huge love of Elves). It'll be at least a couple years until I'm done (seeing how i plan for my book to be a trilogy) but, hopefully, in the end I'll find someone to publish it since being an author is the only thing i know i want to do as of right now.
So yea that's what I've done the past week. Read, write, and been a complete idiot. All in a days work for me. So now I'm just looking forward to July 4 for it's fireworks, July 5 for Molly's birthday, and July 17 for my trip, well there, seeing how the only people reading this are from Wisconsin. Well there, I'm done blogging so now i have to wait for my grandma and great-grandma to pick me up from the library which could be anytime from 11-2 and its only 9:50 now. . . Yippee i get to sit here for hours! : \ Anyway, so long until my next trip to town!

A Busy Time of the Month
Well the middle of June is here and it has been near-hectic lately! There's been my joyful ear infection, Molly's sickness that about caused me a heart attack, the breakdown of my computer, constant friends over, and me and Molly's one-year anniversary in the past 20 days! I'm almost scared to see what the rest of this month has waiting. Anyway today is June 20, yesterday was 1 year for me and Molly (God it doesn't seem that long) and it's not any fun that i can't go buy her something and give it to her on the right day because of the 1000+ mile difference between us and sending it in the mail just doesn't feel right. Another recent event was Monday when i was suddenly woken by a 9 a.m. call from Molly (I'm getting used to those) and then a 9:30 a.m. barging in by my grandma saying "Get up and get ready. You have a doctor's appointment in 40 minutes!" (You gotta' love the warning I'm given here). My best friend Josh was at the house all weekend (like every weekend) and i dragged him along with me to the doctor's office where he waited in the lobby and played his game boy the 30 minutes it took then to poke my finger, examine my ear, and tell me i had an ear infection and to prescribe 3 medications for a week and a bottle of ear drops to make the skull-splintering pain go away. As for Molly's sickness, well, anyone who is going to read this knows what I'm talking about there so moving on. Other then that there really isn't much, i went and saw Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (No competition at all for Pirates of the Caribbean III: At World's End), I've been swimming constantly, reading Sabriel by Garth Nix (Great book!), and, as always, talking to Molly about 12 hour's a day (Thank God you can't get some kind of radiation from a phone or i would be out of luck). As for today, I'm with my grandma in town delivering cakes (She bakes for my great-aunt's restaurant), shopping in Walmart, sitting around here, at the library, to look for plane ticket's and to write this, and i think next we're going to Panda to eat (My favorite Chinese restaurant). Anyway my 30 minutes on the computer is over which means so is this blog!

Inspiration for Creation
Today is June 5, 2007 and i decided to make the blog because my girlfriends mom, Christy, has one and i might as well get one to keep everyone updated on what I've been up to since my life is so important (yea right!). Today is like every other day pretty much except I'm actually in town (a good accomplishment for someone 25 miles from anything resembling a city!). I'm at the library using their computer seeing how mine is as good as worthless for providing any internet access. Today me and my grandma (with whom i live with since my dad is in California and my mom passed away a little over five years ago) have been shopping for vegitables at Farmer's Market (I'm a teenage freak for the fact that i love vegi's and hate sweets), visited some relatives, and now I'm stopping here to check my email, write a paragraph or two, and pick up a few good books.
My plans for later is to get home and get on the phone with Molly, my girlfriend for 11 months (1 year June 19), draw a little, write a little on my book i've been working on for 8 months (with over 100 pages to show my success so far), and around 10 p.m. start catching some late-night reading for a few hours (the best way i've found to hurry and fall asleep). Any way will be back i town before long hopefully and fill everyone in on what exciting stories happen in my life.
